173A Mural monument for Rev. Peter BAKER, d. 1729/30, and his family

-  Pendant to 173B; a pointed pediment supporting flaming urns left (lost) and right; fluted corbels; broken cornice; below, M.I. on unframed white marble tablet; flat arched top; full base mouldings on brackets; black backplate; white corbel at foot.

-  Rev. Peter Baker, A.M., vicar of Mayfield 33 years, d. 20 Jan 1729/30, aet 58, son of John Baker, Esq., of the Place; his wife, Marthanna, eldest daughter of Robert Baker, of Middle House; issue - Michael Baker, Esq., of Lower House, born 13 Dec 1716; Michael Baker's wife, Martha, only daughter and sole heir of Walter Roberts, Esq., of Stone House, Warbleton.
